Bologna are threatening FC Twente’s plans for Manchester United midfielder Facundo Pellistri.

The Uruguay international is set to leave United for loan this season.

United manager Erik ten Hag is a fan of Pellistri, but feels he needs a year away to continue his development.

Ten Hag has recommended Pellistri spend the season at Twente, where he formerly coached.

However, Bologna have also come forward and offered a loan opportunity to Pellistri, where he would play for highly-rated coach Thiago Motta.
