Man United close in on deal worth around £43m for Inter goalkeeper Onana| SolSportHQ
Talks between Manchester United are Inter Milan surrounding Andre Onana are close to concluding.
Inter believe the fee for the Cameroonian goalkeeper will be around £43m including add ons.
Onana made 41 appearances in all competitions during his solitary season at the San Siro as Simone Inzhagi’s side captured the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana while reaching the final of the Champions League.
The move comes after David de Gea departed United after 12 seasons as the No 1 at Old Trafford earlier this month on the expiry of his contract.
United have also spoken to Urawa Reds regarding a £5m deal for their 20-year old Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.
Suzuki became the youngest player in the club’s history to sign a professional contract when he penned terms at the age of 16, and he made his senior international debut last year after representing Japan at multiple youth levels.
