PSG officially announced that Marco Asensio joins the club on a free transfer, and the Spanish striker has signed a deal for three seasons, until June 2026.

According to Romano, Asensio’s salary will be €10m per year.

Trained at RCD Mallorca, Marco Asensio made his debut with the first team of his hometown club during the 2013-2014 season.

Transferred to Real Madrid in the summer of 2015, he was loaned directly to RCD Espanyol where he played 37 games and scored 4 goals, including a double and an assist in his first match in the colors of the club of Catalonia.

After his season-long loan to RCD Espanyol, Marco Asensio returned to Real Madrid. In seven seasons with the Madrid club, he accumulated 286 matches (61 goals, 29 assists), winning the Spanish league 3 times (2017, 2020, 2022), 2 Spanish Super Cup (2017 and 2020), 3 Champions League (2017, 2018, 2022), 4 Club World Cup (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2022), 3 UEFA Super Cup (2016, 2017 and 2022) and a Spanish Cup (2023).

The left-hander was called up for the first time with the Spanish selection in May 2016, before being selected by Julen Lopetegui to participate in the 2018 World Cup. Four years later, in Qatar, Marco Asensio played in the second FIFA World Cup of his career and scored a goal.

‘It is a privilege to be part of this great club that is PSG,’ said Marco Asensio, ‘I look forward to joining my new teammates and working with them to achieve great goals.’
