Premier League announces fixture amendments including Arsenal vs Man United and North London| SolSportHQ
The Premier League has released it’s latest fixture amendments for August and September ahead of the new season, commencing on August 12.
Several big games have had their dates and times changed to help facilitate TV deals and to avoid fixture clashes with other competitions.
Manchester United vs Arsenal has been changed from September 2 at 3pm to September 3 at 4.30pm to cater for a Sky Sports television slot.
While the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham has been pushed back from September 23 at 3pm to September 24 at 2pm for the same reason.
So too has Newcastle United vs Liverpool which has changed from August 26 at 3pm to August 27 at 4.30pm.
The upcoming Premier League campaign promises to be a cracker. Manchester City will be looking to win their fourth title in a row after finishing five points clear of Arsenal last season.
The Gunners, Manchester United and Newcastle will all be looking to close the gap on Pep Guardiola’s side again this year.
Liverpool and Chelsea look set for a resurgence after some smart summer business while Brighton and Aston Villa will be hoping to continue their rise after qualifying for European football.
Meanwhile, newly promoted Burnely, Luton Town and Sheffield United will be aiming to cause a few upsets when they take to the field next month.
