Ten Hag call three academy starlets train Man United first team pre-season| SolSportHQ
Manchester United have promoted three youngsters from the academy to first-team training with several stars still away.
The starlets will get their shot while multiple players, such as Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, are still away on holiday after international duty last month suspended their usual summer break.
A lack of incomings has also opened up the opportunity for the youth stars, with Mason Mount the only signing United have made so far.
The Red Devils officially returned to training at Carrington yesterday.
And for the duration of pre-season, young guns Charlie Savage, Maxi Oyedele and Isak Hansen-Aaroen should be reporting to senior training.
Midfielder Charlie Savage, 20, previously featured for United against BSC Young Boys and spent the latter half of last season on loan at Forest Green Rovers in League One.
Eighteen-year-old Maxi Oyedele, a Polish youth international playing in the middle of the park, notched four league goals in 15 games while on assignment with local National League side Altrincham.
And midfielder Isak Hansen-Aarøen, 18, has progressed through the youth ranks these last three years after signing from Norwegian outfit Tromsø, where he was their youngest ever player, aged 15.
Despite some key absences, lots of notable faces were present.
Lisandro Martinez was pictured embracing Mount, while Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial, and Dean Henderson were also among those snapped by the cameras.
With the club open to selling to selling lots of their personnel, opportunities could arise for the three kids plucked from the younger age groups moving forward.
Donny van de Beek, Fred, Anthony Elanga, Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams are among the players that are available for sale, while United will listen to offers for Maguire, Scott McTominay and Dean Henderson.
Both Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial could be bought for the right price.
