AC Milan has completed the signing of USA international Yunus Musah from LaLiga club Valencia.
The 20-year-old midfielder is joining the Italian side on a €20million transfer (£17.1m, $22.1m) with a further €1m in add-ons.
Musah, who was born in New York but grew up in Italy and England, signed a five-year contract with the Rossoneri and will wear the No. 80, according to The Athletic.
The New York-native will join USMNT teammate, Christian Pulisic, at the San Siro after the former Chelsea star joined the Serie A side on a four-year deal last month.
Milan is controlled by the American investment firm RedBird Capital Partners led by Gerry Cardinale, and baseball’s New York Yankees are a minority investor.
Musah was a regular starter in his three seasons at Valencia. He spent part of his childhood in Castelfranco Veneto near Venice.
Musah has made 27 appearances for the United States, and started all four games in the Stars and Stripes’ World Cup in Qatar last year.
Milan has been active in the transfer market, having also signed Noah Okafor, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tijjani Reijnders.
