Young Andreeva hates to lose and shows it: She throws the racket and steps on it after defeat to Krejcikova

Mirra Andreeva, who lifted a 5-1 and match ball in the third round of the Australian Open against Diane Parry, could not take another step in her dazzling rise on Sunday.
At 16 years of age, the tennis player who can only play 12 tournaments due to her young age, fell to her knees against a superior opponent who triples her experience.
Barbora Krejcikova was the victor, by a score of 4-6, 6-3 and 6-2. The Czech, champion of Roland Garros in 2021 and ninth favorite in the draw, has plenty of talent. Her rival was overflowing with desire to beat everyone, but it was not to be.
Andreeva‘s competitive nature makes her throw her racquet when things go wrong. She did so after conceding the sixth game of the second set.
Krejcikova soared in the final stages to earn a win that puts her in the quarterfinals with Aryna Sabalenka. Mirra bids farewell to the competition, a player who a year ago lost the junior final but now seems destined for the elite.
